DEVELOPMENT OF A MAGNETICALLY SHIELDED ROOM EQUIPPED WITH AN AUTOMATIC DOOR FOR BIOMAGNETIC MEASUREMENTS

A magnetically shielded room (MSR) equipped with an automatic door is designed and developed to improve a convenience of operation. The MSR for biomagnetic measurements (e.g., magneto-encephalography), it required that such has high shielding performance because biomagnetism extremely smaller than environmental magnetic noises. In particular, we devise the laminar structure shield plates prevent leakage noise passed through gap. Furthermore, evaluated by actual magnetoencephalography measurement, confirm which enables measure biomagnetism.
